My profoundly autistic son, Sam, is in Mrs. Moeller's ASD classroom at Hale elementary in Schaumburg.

As you know, another parent from the class knows you and due to your most gracious offer Sam is now the proud owner of a JoRide. I plan on putting the bike together on Monday and start teaching Sam to ride like Joe!

Dear Mr. Cohen,

It is with sincere appreciation and gratitude that we compose this letter to both you and Konica Minolta for the JoRide Independence bicycle you provided to our son, Jason. Jason is 11 years old and he has autism. He is not able to independently ride a traditional two-wheeler bicycle due to balance, coordination and safety issues. The JoRide Independence is a perfect bridge between the tricycle he currently owns and a regular two-wheeler with petals that we hope he can obtain some day. Jason loves the bike, how it looks, and how easy is has been for him to ride without the need for immediate coordination and adult assistance. He has asked to ride it numerous times, even in the cold weather. The JoRide will allow Jason the ability to be part of our family rides. Thanks to this bike, Jason will now be able to be a more integrated part of our family and he will be able to participate in more outdoor activities which our family truly enjoys. What a terrific innovation to assist children who otherwise would not be able to ride a bicycle! We commend you and your efforts with this terrific product.
