No matter which end of the autistic spectrum kids or adults fall on, JoRide bikes equip them with the confidence and independence they need to bond with their peers and increase their self-esteem. Our bikes for kids on the spectrum were created to help individuals with autism who have previously felt left out because they couldn’t ride a typical two-wheel bicycle like others their age. In addition, JoRide bikes for kids on the spectrum promote physical fitness and can be used by physical education instructors in adaptive PE classes.
The Center for Enriched Living, NSSED, NSSRA, Autism Speaks, and many other public and private schools, including Therapeutic day programs, have found so much value in our JoRide bikes for kids on the spectrum that they have partnered with us. We currently count thousands of riders and growing among our ranks.
If you are interested in bikes for kids on the spectrum and other special needs like Asperger’s syndrome and Down syndrome, please contact Steven Cohen at 630-258-2543 for more information. |
